MINGO FALLS

Mingo Falls

is easily accessible by following a 1/4 mile trail and is the highest waterfall in the Great Smokies National Park. Only 159 steps to the top of the short trail leading you to this beautiful cascade. Truly a treasure of the Smokies!

Parking Area for the Falls is approximately 1/4 mile past KOA Campground on Big Cove Road.
Follow Big Cove Road North outside of Cherokee about 5 miles.
Look for signs, cross over the bridge, park and walk up.
