Craft Breweries & Wineries
We need your help!
As we progress, we'll be adding content but if you can email us a link to your favorite brewery or winery and what you like about it, we'll see about getting that info added--it's that simple..
I found a great article in my news feed (Thanks Cardinal & Pine) about NC Breweries having a great social purpose to go along with their products. Read about it here;
Or you can visit www.drinkncbeer.org for the REAL DEAL....
Craft Brewery Craze is for real
As a beer drinker, I won't have too much trouble focusing to build out this page, but we can't be everywhere all the time so please help us build the site out. Send me some critical information and details of your favorite brewery--ambience and such. For example, here in Winston Salem, Innovation Brewery has great location and ambience, but they don't brew anything that makes me want to return so I'm not there often--unless it's for pizza next door or a band out back in the coal pit because Wiseman's, Foothills and the Fiddlin' Fish simply have better brews....
But what's brewing in your town??.
The Climate is right--for grapes
As the crop of the Old South (tobacco) growth, popularity and production began to wane, farmers began realizing that grapes for wine were ideal in this climate--so hail to the Scuppernongs! But I am no vino afficianado so I definitely need some help documenting this section.
Asheville and it's surrounding area--the leader in NC ?
Many folks believe so.......with establishments like Wicked Weed, Oskar Blues, and Sierra Nevada setting up shop it's definitely top of the charts, but can't we all just get along?
I know a few things that I'll point out....support your local tap rooms and Lowe's Foods grocery chain that has many local NC brews on tap for all to enjoy....as a matter of fact, i think Thursday evening from 5-7pm is thirsty hour? Check it out
or Hop Aboard & Try the NC Ale Trail.....
